My friend Jesse found this dumb graffiti in his hood, emailed it to me, and told me to “look it up.” I did and it is the passage below
“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”
Maybe this person should also quote other passages of the bible like:
Exodus 21:7
“When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years like the men are.”
or Exodus 35:2
“For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death”
….just wondering if this person ever worked on a Sunday. And if so should they be killed. Of course not, and also this person should not be quoting scripture from the bible as literal code of ethics. You cannot pick and choose your beliefs from the bible selectively or as you deem fit.
Also this was found in NYC, and in Brooklyn none the less. This person needs to wake the fuck up and realize that they are living in the gayest, probably most liberal, city in the world. If they are against gays, cross dressing, queers, transexuals or just plain old freaks then they need to move the fuck out … cause we run this town.
